Description

Volume of major conventional weapons exported, expressed in TIV per 100,000 population. The trend-indicator value (TIV) is based on the known unit production cost of a core set of weapons and does not reflect the financial value of the exports, but rather the military capacity they represent. Small arms, light weapons, ammunition and other support material are not included. Values were calculated as the average of all values available over the last 5 year period.
